John 10:27-29 “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.” Pray that the Nigerien people come to be certain that God has a personal interest in them and promises His eternal reward.
100% of church multiplication movements had extraordinary prayer. Prayer brings the heart of man into agreement with the heart of God. His will, established and waiting in heaven, is manifest on earth as we say yes! Pray Your Kingdom come Lord, to Niger as it is in heaven!
Matthew 12:6-8 “But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here. But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire compassion, and not a sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” Pray that Nigeriens would come to know Jesus and His desire for relationship not ritual.
It’s Monday…ONE day! Would you please send an email to ONE praying friend, asking him/her to consider signing up for daily, strategic, brief prayer emails at www.PrayforNiger.org? Make sure he/she knows that a Disciple Making Movement has never happened except in the midst of extraordinary prayer. In other words, make sure your friend knows how eternally important his/her contribution of prayer will be! Thank you for sharing the opportunity to pray for Niger.
As the Pray for Niger global prayer movement grows, our desire is to partner with other churches that support mission work in Niger. Pray for church relationships and partnerships to develop and grow as the Pray for Niger ministry moves forward.
All church multiplication movements have submitted themselves to the authority of God’s Word. Pray for Nigerien Christians to have a passion for God’s Word. Pray God’s Word will become more available and that people will submit themselves to it.
Matthew 11:10 “This is the one about whom it is written, ‘Behold, I send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You.’” Pray that Zarma Christians would be messengers for the Lord, advancing the gospel to their people.
Multiple media distribution outlets such as email, Twitter, Facebook and others are being utilized for the Pray for Niger global prayer movement. Pray that these outlets will be effective in reaching thousands of faithful prayer warriors who will commit to lift the people of Niger to the throne of God.
Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” Pray that the fears and superstitions of the Nigerien people give way to the light and salvation of the Lord.
Most church multiplication movements have had family based conversion patterns. Pray for breakthrough, that individuals will soon find powerful ways to engage entire families simultaneously with the Gospel; that whole families might come to the Lord at once and benefit greatly from their long-term relational support.
Matthew 10:12-14 “As you enter the house, give it your greeting. If the house is worthy, give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace. Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.” Pray that “people of peace” would be found among the communities of the Zarma; men and women who have an open spirit to the good news of Jesus and will be messengers of truth to their families and communities.
The vision for Pray for Niger is to see the gospel message spread to all Nigeriens. Our key focus is on the Zarma as they are a people of great influence politically, socially, and economically. Pray that the name of Jesus would be made famous among the Zarma and all the people of Niger.
