02 Aug camel thief

Before “Ali” accepted Christ, he was a liar and a thief. Recently, while visiting a Tuareg village to share the Gospel, a man said, “Wait, I know you, you are the man that stole my camel. Now, you claim that you are a Christian?!”

Ali admitted that he had stolen his camel years ago and had even spent time in jail for his crime. He stated that he has now been a Christian for three years and his life is completely different because Jesus has forgiven his sins.

Initially, the man did not trust Ali and even stated that he had only become a Christian in order to become rich. Ali humbly answered the man’s questions and asked if he could return in the future to tell him more about Jesus and the man agreed.

Pray that the Lord would use Ali’s example of transformation to lead others in this Tuareg village to Christ.
