17 Jan no longer veiled

Tuareg men begin wearing veils to cover their faces around the age of 18 to signify that they are now eligible for marriage.  Not only is it symbolic of the male identity, but it is often considered a form of protection against evil spirits.

    • Pray that the Gospel of Jesus Christ would no longer be veiled to the Tuareg people.
    • Pray that the Tuaregs would see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.

2 Corinthians 4: 3-4 “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
