19 Sep Proverbs 23:17–18

“Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of the Lord all the day. Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.” (Proverbs 23:17–18) Pray that the Lord protects the hearts of His Nigerian children from wanting the world rather than intimacy with the Lord. Pray that they wouldn’t look at the prosperous wicked, but at the eternal reality around them.

« Que ton cœur n’envie point les pécheurs, mais qu’il ait toujours la crainte de l’Eternel.» (Proverbes 23 :17-18). Priez que le Seigneur protège Ses enfants Nigériens de l’envie de ce monde qui fait concurrence à l’intimité avec le Seigneur. Priez qu’ils ne considèrent pas les hommes charnels et prospères, mais à la réalité éternelle autour d’eux-mêmes.
