PRAISE THE ONE TRUE GOD

“I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.” (Psalm 57:9)

CULTURAL PETITION

Muslims wash their hands and feet and rinse their mouths before prayer because they want to be clean and pure before Allah.

• Pray that Nigerien Muslims would come into a relationship with the God who desires only a clean heart and is not concerned with our outward appearances.
• Pray that their hearts would be purified through Christ.

KINGDOM COME 

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16) 

• Pray that the example of Nigerien believers would be a bright light in the darkness around them. 
• Pray that as Nigerien believers pursue righteousness, their lives would look radically different from their Muslim neighbors.  
• Pray that Nigeriens would see their good works and give glory to the one true God.

INDIVIDUAL PETITION

Pray for “Ibrahim,” a young Muslim man who remains open to the Gospel.  Recently, Ibrahim began reading the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan and journaling his thoughts and convictions. Ibrahim remains faithful to Islam in order to please his family and honor them. 

• Pray that Ibrahim would continue to remain open to the Gospel.  
• Pray that the Lord would speak to him in dreams and visions as he fasts and prays.  
• Pray that he would wholeheartedly seek the truth.

NONE LIKE HIM

“‘For his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?”’”  (Daniel 4:34b-35)

Pray that the people of Niger would understand that all things find their origin in God alone and magnify His Name as the God of infinite creativity.

UN APERÇU SUR LA CULTURE

Les Musulmans nettoient leurs mains, leurs pieds et rincent leurs bouches avant la prière parce qu’ils veulent être propres et pures aux yeux de Dieu.

• Priez pour que les Musulmans Nigériens rentrent dans une relation avec Dieu qui ne désire qu’un cœur propre et ne se préoccupe pas de nos apparences.
• Priez pour que leurs cœurs soient purifiés par Christ.

QUE TON ROYAUME VIENNE 

“Que votre lumière luise ainsi devant les hommes, afin qu’ils voient vos bonnes œuvres, et qu’ils glorifient votre Père qui est dans les cieux” (Matthieu 5 :16). 

• Priez pour que la vie exemplaire (le témoignage) que mènent les croyants Nigériens soit une lumière éclatante au milieu des ténèbres qui les entourent. 
• Priez pour que, pendant que les croyants Nigériens poursuivent la justice, leurs vies soient radicalement différentes de celles de leurs voisins.  
• Priez pour que les Nigériens voient leurs bonnes œuvres et donnent gloire au Seul Vrai Dieu.

INTERCÉDONS EN FAVEUR DES AUTRES

Priez pour “Ibrahim”, un jeune musulman qui reste ouvert à l’Evangile.  Récemment, Ibrahim a commencé à lire le livre Crazy Love, de Francis Chan, et à noter ses idées pensées et ses convictions dans un journal. Ibrahim reste fidèle à l’islam afin de plaire à sa famille et de l’honorer. 

• Priez pour qu’Ibrahim continue à rester ouvert à l’Evangile.  
• Priez pour que le Seigneur l’interpelle dans ses rêves et par des visions pendant qu’il jeûne et prie.  Priez pour qu’il recherche de tout cœur la vérité.

NUL N’EST COMME LUI

Daniel 4 : 34b-35 “dont la domination est une domination éternelle, et dont le règne subsiste de génération en génération. Tous les habitants de la terre ne sont ses yeux que néant : il agit comme il lui plait avec l’armée des cieux et avec les habitants de la terre, et il n’ay personne qui résiste à sa main et qui lui dise: Que fais-tu?”  

Priez pour que les populations du Niger comprennent que toutes choses tirent leur origine dans Dieu Seul et magnifient Son Nom en tant que le Dieu d’une créativité sans limites.
