PRAISE THE ONE TRUE GOD

“May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!” (Psalm 72:11)

CULTURAL PETITION

Many Nigerien Muslims are burdened by the crushing weight of sin and shame.  Pray that this month, many Nigerien Christians would hear the good news that Jesus Christ came to bear our sin and our shame on Himself. Pray that Nigeriens would experience freedom from their heavy burdens as they place their trust in Jesus Christ.

KINGDOM COME 

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33) 

Pray that the Lord’s Kingdom would be our first priority. May God’s kingdom values and purposes be the primary focus of every Christian in Niger.

INDIVIDUAL PETITION

Pray for “Farida,” a young woman who has been raised in a Muslim and animistic family who has abused, exploited, and used her.  A Christian family welcomed her into their home to protect her from forced marriage or sexual exploitation. Yet Farida continued to be manipulated and threatened by her family and eventually returned to her old life. 

• Pray that Farida would confidently place her faith in Christ Jesus who has the power to break through powerful demonic strongholds. 
• Pray that Farida would accept the unconditional love of the Father and believe that He not only delights in her, but freely gave His life for her.

NONE LIKE HIM

Hebrews 1:3a “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.”  

Praise the God of infinite provision, who created us and loves us, but does not need us.  Pray that in Nigeriens’ neediness, they would turn to Jesus Christ, the source of all things.

UN APERÇU SUR LA CULTURE

De nombreux musulmans nigériens sont accablés par le poids écrasant du péché et de la honte.  

• Priez que ce mois-ci, de nombreux chrétiens nigériens entendent la Bonne Nouvelle que Jésus-Christ, Lui qui a pris nos péchés et notre honte sur Lui-même. 
• Priez pour que les Nigériens expérimentent Jésus.

QUE TON ROYAUME VIENNE 

“Cherchez premièrement le royaume et la justice de Dieu, et toutes ces choses vous seront données par-dessus” (Matthieu 6 : 33). 

Priez pour que le Royaume de Dieu soit notre première priorité. Que les valeurs et les desseins du Royaume de Dieu soient la première chose sur laquelle se focalise chaque Chrétien au Niger.

INTERCÉDONS EN FAVEUR DES AUTRES

Priez pour “Farida,” une jeune femme qui a été élevé dans une famille syncrétiste (qui pratique à la fois l’Islam et l’Animisme) qui a abusé d’elle, l’a exploitée, et l’a utilisée. Une famille Chrétienne l’a accueillie sous leur toit afin de la mettre à l’abri d’un mariage force et l’exploitation sexuelle. Cependant, Farida continue d’être manipulée et menace par sa famille et elle est éventuellement retournée à son ancienne vie. 

• Priez pour que Farida place sa foi en toute confiance sur Christ Jésus, Lui qui a le pouvoir de briser les redoutables forteresses démoniques. 
• Priez pour que Farida accepte l’amour inconditionnel du Père et croie que non seulement Il prend Plaisir en elle, mais aussi Il a donné gratuitement sa vie pour elle.

NUL N’EST COMME LUI

Hébreux 1 : 3a “et qui étant le reflet de sa gloire et l’empreinte de sa personne et soutenant toutes choses par sa parole puissante.”  

Louez le Dieu qui est d’une providence inouïe, qui nous a créés et qui nous aime, mais qui n’a nul besoin de nous. Priez pour que dans leurs besoins, les Nigériens se tournent vers Jésus Christ, l’Origine de toutes choses.
