PRAISE THE ONE TRUE GOD

“Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!” (Psalm 67:3)

CULTURAL PETITION

“Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.’” (John 6:35)

Pray that as Nigeriens experience physical hunger and thirst during their time of fasting, they would seek the “Bread of Life” and never hunger or thirst again.

KINGDOM COME 

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19) 

Pray that as Christ-followers in Niger enter into spiritually dark places, they would exercise the God-given Kingdom authority that He delegated to the church through Christ Jesus.  Pray that multitudes of Nigeriens would proclaim that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

INDIVIDUAL PETITION

Pray for “Ousman,” a young father who believes in Christ, but continues to live in the world.  Each week, his wife attends church alone while he hangs out with his neighbors, drinking and smoking. 

• Pray that Ousman would be convicted of his sin and choose to repent.  
• Pray that he would develop a fear of the Lord and strive to bring God glory rather than live an apathetic life.

NONE LIKE HIM

Pray that the people of Niger would know that God is not merely possessed of great power; He is all-powerful, limitless in power, and infinitely powerful. 

“Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?” (Job 26:14)

UN APERÇU SUR LA CULTURE

John 6:35 “Jésus leur dit: Je suis le pain de vie. Celui qui vient à moi n’aura jamais faim, et celui qui croit en moi n’aura jamais soif.’’

Priez pour que pendant que les Nigériens éprouvent la faim et la soif physiques pendant leur période de jeûne, qu’ils cherchent le “Pain de Vie” et qu’ils n’éprouvent plus de faim ou de soif encore.

QUE TON ROYAUME VIENNE 

“Je te donnerai les clefs du royaume des cieux ; ce que tu lieras sur la terre sera lié dans les cieux, et ce que tu délieras sur la terre sera délié dans les cieux” (Matthieu 16 :19). 

Priez pour que les adeptes de Christ au Niger, pour que chaque fois qu’ils entrent dans les lieux spirituellement sombres, ils puissent exercer l’autorité du Royaume que Dieu leur a donnée et qu’Il a déléguée à l’église à travers jésus Christ. 

Priez pour que des multitudes de Nigériens proclament que Jésus est le Christ, le Fils du Dieu Vivant.

INTERCÉDONS EN FAVEUR DES AUTRES

Priez pour que “Ousman”, un jeune papa qui croit en Christ, mais qui continue à mener une vie mondaine.  Chaque semaine, sa femme se rend seule à l’église tandis qu’il traîne avec ses voisins, buvant et fumant. 

• Priez pour qu’Ousman soit convaincu de son péché et choisisse de se repentir.  
• Priez pour qu’il soit saisi de la crainte du Seigneur et s’évertue à glorifier Dieu plutôt que de débauche.

NUL N’EST COMME LUI

Priez pour que mes populations du Niger sachent que Dieu ne dispose pas seulement d’une grande puissance, Il est le tout-puissant, son pouvoir est infini et est démesurément redoutable. 

Job 26 :14 “Ce sont là les bords de ses voies, C’est le bruit léger qui nous en parvient ; mais qui entendra le tonnerre de sa puissance ?”
