09 Jul the god of thunder

The Songhai-Zarma people believe in Dongo, the god of thunder and lightning.  Many will swear by the name of Dongo, but believe that if they lie while swearing by his name, they will suffer his anger. Pray that the Zarma Songhai people would know the Only God and creator of the lightning and thunder.

Job 37:4-5 “After it his voice roars; he thunders with his majestic voice, and he does not restrain the lightnings when his voice is heard. God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend. 

Le peuple Songhaï-Zarma croit en Dongo, le dieu du tonnerre et de la foudre.  Beaucoup jurent par le nom de Dongo, mais croient que s’ils mentent en jurant par son nom, sa colère s’abattra sur eux.  Priez pour que le peuple Zarma Songhai connaisse le seul Dieu et créateur de la foudre et du tonnerre.

Job 37 : 4-5 “Puis éclate un rugissement : il tonne de sa voix majestueuse ; Il ne retient plus l’éclair, dès que sa voix retentit. Dieu tonne avec sa voix d’une manière merveilleuse ; Il fait de grande choses que nous ne comprenons pas’’.
