14 Sep free to worship

Pray for a woman whose husband and co-wife recently accepted Christ.  Although she believed in Jesus, her brother and her father (a well-respected marabout in a nearby village) forbade her to become a Christian.  The woman continued to share her faith with her brother and father and eventually, they told her that she was free to worship whomever she wished to worship and she was baptized. 

Pray that her brother and father would also experience the forgiveness and grace that accompanies following Christ.  Pray that this young woman would be a light in her community and amongst her family members.

Priez pour une femme dont le mari et la coépouse ont récemment accepté Christ. Bien qu’elle croit en Jésus, son frère et son père (un marabout très respecté dans un village voisin) l’ont empêché de devenir Chrétienne. La femme en question continue de partager sa foi avec son frère et son père et ils ont fini par lui dire qu’elle est libre d’adorer qui elle veut et elle a été baptisée. 

Priez pour que son frère et son père expérimentent eux aussi le pardon et la grâce que l’on trouve lorsqu’on suit Christ.  Priez pour que cette jeune femme serve de lumière au sein de sa communauté et au milieu des membres de sa famille.
