30 Ways for Muslims to encounter Christ

Today, Nigerien Muslims are celebrating the end of the fasting month of Ramadan with Eid al-Fitr, which means “The Celebration of Breaking the Fast.”  Most people celebrate with special foods and newly tailored clothing. Communal prayers are a significant part of the Eid, and after the prayers, the feasting and celebrating begins. 

• Pray that those celebrating Eid al-Fitr will see that their righteous acts will never attain God’s favor.
• Pray that Nigerien Muslims would recognize that the only road to salvation is through accepting the finished work of Christ.

Praying Scripture

“And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached throughout the world, so that all peoples will hear it; and then the end will come” (Mathew 24:14).

Lord, on this last day of Ramadan, we cry out to you again and declare the truth of your promise that this Gospel of Your Kingdom shall be preached throughout the entire Muslim world: from Morocco to Indonesia, from California to the streets of Paris. And in Niger, again, we proclaim: North and South, East and West; mountain, coast, and valley; every family, village, town, region, and city in Niger shall hear the truth of the Gospel of Christ.

Aujourd’hui, les Musulmans Nigériens célèbrent la fin du mois de jeûne de Ramadan avec l’Aid al-Fitr, ce qui signifie “La Célébration qui marque la Rupture du Jeûne.”  La plupart des gens célèbrent avec des repas copieux et des habits nouvellement cousus. Les prières collectives constituent une partie importante de l’Aid et après les prières, les réjouissances et les cérémonies commencement. 

• Priez pour que ceux-là qui célèbrent l’Aid al-Fitr se rendent à l’évidence que leurs œuvres de justice ne pourront jamais leur procurer la faveur de Dieu.
• Priez pour que les Musulmans Nigériens puissent reconnaître que le seul moyen d’accéder au salut, c’est d’accepter l’œuvre que Christ a déjà accomplie.

Priez sur la base de l’Ecriture

“Cette bonne nouvelle du Royaume sera prêché dans le monde entier, pour servir de témoignage à toutes les nations, Alors viendra la fin” (Matthieu 24 :14).

Seigneur, en ce dernier jour du Ramadan, nous crions à nouveau vers toi et déclarons la vérité de ta promesse que cet Évangile de ton Royaume sera prêché dans tout le monde musulman : du Maroc à l’Indonésie, de la Californie aux rues de Paris. Et au au Niger, nous proclamons à nouveau que du Nord au Sud, d’Est en Ouest ; dans la montagne, au bord des eaux et dans la vallée ; chaque famille, village, ville, région et ville au au Niger entende la vérité de l’Evangile de Christ.
