Praying with insight

The most common greeting across the Muslim world is Salam (Peace).

Hearts long for peace and even fight for peace, but peace is only found through the blood of Jesus. Through the Son, God reconciled “to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” (Colossians 1:20) Those who make peace, who bring the message of reconciliation, are blessed and take after their Father.

Pray that God’s children would go to the anxious and the fearful and be peacemakers by bringing the gospel. God is the great reconciler.

For believers

Pray for “Fataou,” a 15-year-old young believer facing severe persecution from his extended family and others who threaten his life because of his faith in Christ. His Muslim mother, Amina, has made great sacrifices to protect him and his sister, repeatedly relocating to keep them safe from harm. Despite the risks, she continues to stand by her children and has now asked Fataou’s church for help in starting a food stand business in their new neighborhood.

Pray that Amina’s business will thrive, providing stability and provision for their family. Also, pray for Fataou—that he will grow in his faith, remain steadfast in the face of persecution, and develop a deeper walk with Christ. May God strengthen and bless this family, using Fataou’s testimony to bring others to Him. 

Prier avec perspicacité

La salutation la plus courante dans le monde musulman est Salam (Paix).

Les cœurs aspirent à la paix et luttent même pour la paix, mais la paix ne se trouve que dans le sang de Jésus. Par le Fils, Dieu a réconcilié « avec lui-même l’univers tout entier : ce qui est sur la terre et ce qui est au ciel, en instaurant la paix par le sang que son Fils a versé sur la croix. » (Colossiens 1:20) BDS Ceux qui font la paix, qui apportent le message de réconciliation, sont bénis et ressemblent à leur Père.

Priez pour que les enfants de Dieu aillent vers les personnes anxieuses et craintives et soient des agents de paix en apportant l’Évangile. Dieu est le grand réconciliateur.

Pour les croyants

Priez pour « Fataou », un jeune croyant de 15 ans confronté à une grave persécution de la part de sa famille et d’autres personnes qui menacent sa vie à cause de sa foi en Christ. Sa mère musulmane, Amina, a fait de grands sacrifices pour les protéger, lui et sa sœur, déménageant à plusieurs reprises pour les mettre à l’abri du danger. Malgré les risques, elle continue à soutenir ses enfants et a demandé à l’église de Fataou de l’aider à lancer un stand de nourriture dans leur nouveau quartier.

Priez pour que l’entreprise d’Amina prospère et assure la stabilité et la subsistance de leur famille. Priez également pour Fataou, afin qu’il grandisse dans sa foi, qu’il reste ferme face à la persécution et qu’il approfondisse sa relation avec le Christ. Que Dieu fortifie et bénisse cette famille, en utilisant le témoignage de Fataou pour amener d’autres personnes à Lui.
