09 Nov “why didn’t you tell me?”

When “Garret” accepted Christ and was baptized, the chief of his village came to him and asked, “When these Christians came and shared their religion with you, why didn’t they come to tell me about this Jesus?”  When the church planters returned to disciple Garret, he introduced them to his village chief. When he heard the Gospel, the chief said that his eyes had been opened. He stated that he was not ready to accept Christ, because he knew he would likely forfeit his authority in the village.

• Pray that this village chief would choose to submit to the authority of Christ Jesus.
• Pray that he would willingly sacrifice anything in order to obtain eternal life.

Quand “Garret” a accepté Christ et a été baptisé, le chef de leur village était venu auprès de lui et lui a demandé ‘’Lorsque ces Chrétiens étaient venus partager leur foi avec toi, pourquoi n’étaient-ils pas venus me parler de ce Jésus ?’’. Lorsque les planteurs d’églises étaient retournés pour affermir Garret, il les a présentés au chef du village. Après qu’il a entendu l’Evangile, le chef a déclaré que ses yeux étaient ouverts. Il a affirmé qu’il n’était pas prêt à accepter Christ, parce qu’il savait qu’il allait probablement gâter(compromettre) son autorité dans le village.

• Priez pour que ce chef de village choisisse de se soumettre à l’autorité de Christ Jésus.
• Priez pour qu’il choisisse volontairement de sacrifier tout afin d’obtenir la vie éternelle.
