25 Apr prayers understood by God alone

PRAISE THE ONE TRUE GOD

“You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples.” (Psalm 77:14)

CULTURAL PETITION

Pray for the young teenagers who are expected to fast during Ramadan. Many are exhausted as they go to school in extremely hot classrooms without air conditioning and sometimes without even fans. Pray that the Lord would call these young people to himself and that they would find refuge in Jesus Christ.

KINGDOM COME 

“Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3) 

Pray that the Father would continue to teach and reveal His upside-down and inside-out Kingdom priorities to every Christian in Niger. Pray that God would utilize the child-like faith of Nigerien believers to bring many more Nigeriens into His presence.

INDIVIDUAL PETITION
Pray for “Zeinabou,” a Muslim mother who has a teenage son with cerebral palsy.  Her son has been attending a school for special needs children that is run by a Christian Nigerien. Although her son is mostly nonverbal and only communicates through gestures and grunts, he is extremely intelligent and recently accepted Christ. 

Recently, his mother was very ill, and when she came to the school to pick up her son, he grabbed her hands and began praying for her with tears streaming down his face.  The next day, Zeinabou told the school that she may not have understood her son, but the God he prayed to understood him and healed her.  

Pray that this Ramadan, Zeinabou would follow her son’s example and give her life to Jesus Christ, the God who heals.

NONE LIKE HIM

Pray that Nigeriens would realize that all power belongs to God omnipotent. His power will not increase or decrease. His power can be exercised anywhere at any time. 

“And the men marveled, saying, ‘What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?’”

UN APERÇU SUR LA CULTURE

Priez pour les jeunes adolescents qui sont censés observer le jeûne pendant le Ramadan. Beaucoup d’entre eux sont épuisés comme ils vont à l’école dans des classes où la température est extrêmement élevée, non climatisées et parfois même sans ventilateurs. Priez pour que le Seigneur appelle ces jeunes personnes à lui-même et qu’elles trouvent refuge en Jésus-Christ.

QUE TON ROYAUME VIENNE 

“Je vous le dis en vérité, si vous ne vous convertissez et si vous ne devenez comme des petits enfants, vous n’entrerez pas dans le royaume des cieux” (Matthieu 18 :3). 

Priez pour que le Père continue d’enseigner et de révéler les priorités de Son Royaume dans toutes leurs péripéties(détails) à chaque Chrétien au Niger. Priez pour que Dieu se serve de la foi semblable à celle des petits enfants des croyants Nigériens pour amener beaucoup plus de Nigériens dans Sa présence.

INTERCÉDONS EN FAVEUR DES AUTRES

Priez pour “Zeinabou”, une mère musulmane qui a un fils adolescent atteint de paralysie cérébrale.  Son fils fréquente un établissement pour les enfants ayant des besoins spéciaux dirigée par un Nigérien chrétien. Bien que son fils soit essentiellement muet et ne communique que par des gestes et des grognements, il est extrêmement intelligent et a récemment accepté le Christ.

Récemment, sa mère était tombée gravement malade et lorsqu’elle est venue chercher son fils à l’école, il lui a pris les mains et a commencé à prier pour elle, les larmes aux yeux.  Le lendemain, Zeinabou a dit à l’école qu’elle n’avait peut-être pas compris son fils, mais que le Dieu qu’il priait l’avait compris et l’avait guérie.  

Priez pour qu’à la fin de ce Ramadan, Zeinabou suive l’exemple de son fils et donne sa vie à Jésus-Christ, le Dieu qui guérit.

NUL N’EST COMME LUI

Priez pour que les Nigériens se rendent à l’évidence que tout pouvoir appartient au Dieu Omnipotent. Son pouvoir n’augmentera, ni ne diminuera. Son pouvoir s’exerce en tout lieu et en tout temps. 

Matthieu 8 :27 “Ces hommes furent saisis d’étonnement : Que lest celui-ci, disaient-ils, à qui obéissent même les vents et la mer?”
